WHO ARE WE?

Hi I'm Ebony! My favourite aspect of community-based work is the variety of clients, getting a true snapshot into someone's daily life, and learning what is most meaningful to ach person. I am a caring, honest and dedicated therapist with a holistic and person-centred approach. Since 2014 I have worked in various roles with people across the lifespan, within the disability, workplace rehabilitation and aged care industries. My passion is community aged care, ensuring older adults are able to remain safe and independent within their home and community. 

Hi, I am Jody! I am passionate about working as a community-based OT as I love connecting with people, forming collaborative relationships where I can support and empower individuals to meet their goals in a holistic and person-centered way. Since moving from the UK to Australia in February 2013, I have worked in a variety of roles within the Aged care and disability sector, where I supported adults with neurological conditions. These roles have provided me with the clinical skills to assist individuals to continue living at home and maintain their safety and independence.

Hi, I’m Sharna! I have worked in the Aged Care Setting since 2018, beginning my career in residential care and now in the community. I love to develop relationships with people, hearing their stories and seeing how this and their environment shapes their lives and goals. I have skills with working with people living with dementia and a passion for helping them and their families to maintain a life full of meaning and independence. I firmly believe in advocating for people to live in their environments and community for as long as possible remaining safe and independent. 

Hi, I’m Emma! I value that everyone’s journey is unique and believe that everyone can build or maintain a meaningful purpose to their day. I get a kick out of getting to know people and supporting independence in valued activities. I’m easy going, love to laugh, and know the importance of feeling heard and seen in complex care contexts. I have experience across both acute and community care contexts, with a passion for community based neurological care. My areas of interest include progressive neurological conditions (e.g., Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis), spinal cord injury, stroke, wheelchair and seating prescription, positioning and pressure care, transfer retraining, and complex equipment prescription.
